  GymJun-5117c.jpg -  Gymnopilus junonius  formerly  G. spectabilis   (CN: Big Laughing Gym)  growing out of a eucalyptus stump on Chaparral Hill, at the top of Claremont Canyon, Oakland, CA. The stump was ground down about 2 years ago.  The mushroom was pretty big. One of the pictures has my glove in it
